Personality:
Living true to his name, Feliciano Vargas is an extremely approachable person. Known for his childish personality, the man is able to make friends with just about anyone he meets given that they don't scare the boots right off his feet. A smile is almost always plastered over his face in the Klub and it would never fade while hidden in those walls. It was his home and the people were his family and they've never given him any reason to be sad for them.
Outside of the walls, however, Feliciano is often seen just wondering the streets with a blank expression on his face or maybe even a sad looking smile, twiddling his cross with his fingers. "God is gracious. God is good." He sometimes mutters if you were listening close enough. This little lapse doesn't affect him if he were to see a pretty lady wandering as well. You see, the man was also famous for being able to 'steal a heart'. That was necessary if he wanted a place to sleep until work.
The only place Feliciano will ever allow himself to be truly sad is a church. It brought back horrible memories and it served as no shelter for the catholic boy. He still went to pray seeing as how he was taught to believe it was God's home. Once the night falls and the man is back home, the smile returns and all is well again until closing time. Good thing that isn't for awhile.
Likes:
‹ Singing ``
A love of his from choir boy to cabaret boy.
‹ Music in General ``
There is hardly a type of music the man will refuse to listen to.
‹ Food ``
Feliciano is a true gourmet. His love of food has managed to leave him without a place to call home but it was worth it to him.
‹ Art ``
Something the man has loved his whole life. His grandfather taught him how to draw and after expanding his talents, has been able to exchange art for a temporary place to stay for maybe a few days.
‹ Pretty Women ``
Who doesn't love a beautiful woman?
‹ Books ``
Unexpected from those who don't know the man too well. Feliciano loves to read whenever he gets the chance.
‹ Animals ``
Seeing as how he spends his days roaming the city, the man has managed to befriend local strays who keep him company in case Feliciano were to be forced to sleep in an alley.
‹ Siestas ``
A good nap right before work was never a bad thing.
Dislikes:
‹ Discrimination ``
Something that is inescapable in Berlin. Outside his shelter in the Klub, Feliciano has met with problems due to his career and even his race. How can you hate an Italian?
‹ Pain ``
A true hate of his. The man has a very weak ability to withstand pain.
‹ Bad Cooking ``
An insult to him.
‹ Sleeping on a Street ``
The ground hurts his back, it gets really cold, the alleys smell, etc, etc.
‹ Having to go without food ``
It's not payday everyday and the man never really got money management.
Fears:
‹ God ``
A fear that will never leave him be. "There is no escaping the eyes of God." A sister used to tell him.
‹ Being left all alone ``
It has happened several times before and the thought of it happening again makes him sick.
‹ Guns ``
Being at the end of one once, Feliciano never liked those machines. Even the sound of a bang made him jump.
‹ English Food ``
A step up from bad food. Never again.
‹ Death ``
He knew after death was hell for him after all the sins he's committed. The young man clings onto life for the sake of being happy and avoiding his demise.
Strengths:
‹ Singing ``
A talent that is much needed for someone with his job. Feliciano is a talented singer and can harmonize with just about anyone, male or female.
‹ Choreography ``
Yet another needed talent. Can't have a lovely girl falling on stage now can we?
‹ Cross dressing ``
Something the customers of the Klub know to be extremely believable. Until he talks. Feliciano can't help if his voice cracks while impersonating a woman. Wigs help the ruse.
‹ Cooking ``
He has been known to cook feasts for those who take him in. Of course, given they are willing to pay for the ingredients.
‹ Painting ``
A talent for many years.
‹ Sleeping ``
He could sleep for days if he wanted to.
Weaknesses:
‹ Accordion ``
He's tried to play a few times and a few of the players in the orchestra have even tried to teach him but for some reason, the man just can't get it down.
‹ Singing as a true bass ``
As a tenor and a borderline male soprano, going that far low hurts his throat.
‹ Controlling his emotions ``
Simply, Feliciano is an open book. If he's happy, he's smiling. If he's sad, he's frowning. No hiding anything. In turn, he's a bad liar.
‹ Inability to 'read the atmosphere' ``
Famous for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
‹ Fighting ``
The man is a pacifist so with the combination of either being to scared to fight or refusing with the inability of being able to throw a punch, Feliciano has been beaten a few times. Not many occasions where he would have to defend himself because the man is so good with becoming friends with just about anyone.
‹ Bit of a crybaby ``
Sometimes that 'bit' is an understatement. He can cry at the simplest thing and it's not even just to simply get what he wants.

History:
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
That was the first prayer the man had ever learned. Being born into a poor, Catholic family, Feliciano did not have too many opportunities. The young boy did his best to always lighten the burden on his older brother, Lovino, and their parents. It's too bad the only thing he had to offer at such a young age was a smile and a hug. He had his grandfather as well, however. Whenever he came to visit, the whole family, even the older brunette, had a smile on their face. One day the old man just stopped coming. Questions were asked but received no answers. It was like the family member just disappeared. When he saw he brother leave for work at 13, being only the age of 11, the Italian did not have much out there for him. Their parents were against letting him go to work but Feliciano did find a loophole so that he could still help the two. And that was the age when the redhead became a choir boy at their church.
He spent so much time at that church, befriending everyone there and anyone who happened to set foot in the building. It was such a beautiful place. It was also place where God would listen to anything you had on your mind. Feliciano was a talkative little boy, and loved the idea that there was someone to listen to everything you had to say without tuning you out or in his brother's case, telling you to shut up. He spent a lot of time at the church, sometimes even spending the night in hopes of giving his family one less mouth to feed. His passions were here for him, anyway. Feliciano could help those around him by volunteering to help with any projects they had going on, from helping with the pasta making process to performing his own job, singing. He had to move places in the choir after a few years, due to his voice hanging and going from a male soprano to a tenor.
One day, a bit after he actually started going home more often again, he had noticed something odd in his shared room with Lovino. Seeing as how they shared a bed, there was something wrong with their pillow. Feliciano chose to investigate and there were clumps of money stuffed and even throughout the case. Too afraid to confront him about it, the young Italian just did what he had been doing and talk with God. The problem with this is that God never answered. Feliciano never went to the booth with the father and opted to keep that habit. He did love his brother and wouldn't want him to find out he was blabbing about whatever was going on in his life. The boy decided to just keep quiet about the whole ordeal.
Another year later, the beloved brother had moved away. Lovino still sent money back so the little brother saw that his parents were happy. Feliciano, past the appropriate working age in the eyes of the two that raised him, was asked to go to work finally, seeing as how he only brought home very small amount of money which were only presents from the sisters who could afford to pity him. Having to get a side job, the boy saw that since he was very good at cleaning, he would go around town and asked people if they needed a helping hand. His price was small, afraid to charge too much to the poor families, but it still was enough for what was left of his family along with the money Lovino sent home. One day, the money stopped coming. This worried Feliciano horribly. Their parents had fallen ill and with the money they had, they could not afford treatment. Another reason was for the fact that Feliciano was not a stupid boy. He knew about the campaign against the mafia and he could put two and two together in his head. It explained the money after all.
After seeing as how what he did currently gave a petty amount of money to his parents, the 16 year old was forced to follow in his brother's footsteps. The leaving home part at least. Promising his mother to make enough to send home, she let him leave. He was a frightened boy, though. Feliciano felt it was necessary to take stepping stones in order to get far enough from home. That was how he ended up in Austria. The young man was too afraid to go the opposite was to Switzerland, hearing jokes about how gun-crazy they were made him think they were all actually like that. Moving from Innsbruck to Salzburg, Feliciano learned quickly that the world was a harsh place for someone his age. His looks made him look old enough but in this case, that was a bad thing. Unable to find work for enough money to send down home, the poor man begin to become desperate, selling his own body at times just to be able to send something home. This was the start of his fear of God. If God could see anything and everything, couldn't he see what the young boy grew into?
There was shortly, an incident involving the man. Someone outed all the male prostitute to the families that had been unknowingly boarding them. This affected Feliciano seeing as how he was unable to afford a home. This ended with him at gunpoint from a woman's husband who had been boarding him for about a week, under the impression that his wife was cheating on him. Becoming too ashamed of himself, Feliciano fled Austria, not able to go anywhere without being known for his reputation as a male prostitute. Ending up in Berlin, He knew his parents were probably mad for the past two letters sent home, apologies for no money being sent with. He had to pay for his train tickets after all. The only thing he could do for them was pray, that being if God cared to listen to him anymore. Upon arrival, Feliciano instantly saw a poster for a Cabaret. An ad it looked like for singers and dancers. Believing his luck to be untrue, the man rushed to the Klub and saw how happy this place was. It lifted his heart up and in turn, immediately pleaded for an audition. Being at the age of 18, he was allowed an audition. Feliciano was instantly accepted to join the family, having 'the voice of an angel and the legs of a devil'. He didn't know if the legs part was a compliment or not but who cared? He was home.

Those who roamed the streets of Verona at the time of around 6:30 pm could possibly hear a composition by NiccolE Paganini being hummed from within a shop marked by a worn out sign reading 'Vargas' on the side. A lovely aroma emitted from the inside which called out for any passing travelers to investigate.
The shop was lit brightly and although horribly messy, it was still somehow an inviting place. The main portion of the shop was empty but in the kitchen connected to the first room, the hums were louder as that is where Feliciano was prancing around, preparing dinner for himself and his beloved brother. The course for tonight included the obvious Macaroni, the favourite of the red-haired chef, and some baked bread on the side.
The only thing missing for the man was his brother, Lovino, who had left earlier and said he'd be back in time for dinner. It should only be another minute for the macaroni and the bread was ready to go so where was the other? Feliciano fretted over this matter for a moment, finishing up the meal and placing some of the portion on the two plates he had set out earlier. There was plenty left, at least 6 more servings but in the eyes of an Italian, that was almost enough for two.
A ringing was heard coming from the main room, possibly caused from either the bell tied to the front door or the desk. The excited man headed to greet the person who entered, on the impression that it was his brother. "Fratello~! Why are you so la-" The sentence was uncompleted upon realised that the person was not the older Italian but a younger looking lady holding some papers in her hand. "Ah! Signore Feliciano, I am sorry for coming so late. PapE sent me with papers for Signore Lovino. Is he in?" The young woman questioned, looking around for the older brother. Feliciano's famous smile broke out as he stepped over to the girl, placing his hand on her back and guiding her to the kitchen. "No, no! Fratello is not back yet but he should return soon so why not join us for dinner, bambina!" At least he has someone to share his meal with.
